For the filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Use reduced-fat cream cheese for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Adds tang and creaminess.
  • 1/3 cup sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar) Adjust based on family preference for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional) Brightens the filling.

Method
 

Prepare the crumb base
  1. Crush your cookies or crackers to fine crumbs and mix with melted butter or oil until the mixture holds together when pressed.
Make the filling
  1. Soften the cream cheese before blending. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add yogurt, sweetener, vanilla, and lemon juice. Taste and adjust sweetness.
Assemble the jars
  1. Layer the crumb base and the cheesecake filling in small jars. Add toppings if desired, and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Notes

These jars can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Assemble them the night before for a quick treat the next day.
