  • 1 cup peanut butter The central flavor and binding agent.
  • 1 cup rolled oats Adds chew and bulk.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Acts as sweetener and binder.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances sweetness and flavor.
  • a pinch salt Enhances overall flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add the rolled oats and salt to the mixture and mix until well combined.
  3. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
Molding
  1. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or spray with cooking spray.
  2. Spoon the mixture into the muffin cups, pressing down firmly to ensure they hold together.
Setting
  1. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  2. Once set, remove from the tin and enjoy your no-bake snack!

Notes

Aim for a smooth and uniform base. Mix until oats are evenly coated but don’t overwork them. Press mixture properly to hold shape.
