- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic, and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until chicken is glazed and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package instructions.
- Drain the macaroni and return it to the pot.
- Add the remaining butter, shredded cheddar, and milk; stir until smooth.
- Serve the honey garlic butter chicken over the mac & cheese, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a quick meal, consider using pre-minced garlic and pre-shredded cheese. Leftovers store well in the fridge for 3-4 days.
