For the Mac & Cheese
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni Base for the mac & cheese.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic, and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until chicken is glazed and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  6. Drain the macaroni and return it to the pot.
  7. Add the remaining butter, shredded cheddar, and milk; stir until smooth.
  8. Serve the honey garlic butter chicken over the mac & cheese, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For a quick meal, consider using pre-minced garlic and pre-shredded cheese. Leftovers store well in the fridge for 3-4 days.
