  • 3 pieces ripe bananas Riper bananas add sweetness and moisture.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder Use unsweetened cocoa for best results.
  • 1 scoop protein powder Flavored or unflavored can be used.
  • 1 cup almond flour Can substitute with fine oat flour or all-purpose flour.
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Both work well as sweeteners.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda Provides lift to the loaf.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • pinch salt Balances sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Mixing
  1. Add the cocoa powder, protein powder, almond flour, honey or maple syrup, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

Let the bread cool for at least 20-30 minutes to set properly for slicing. This bread can also be frozen for longer storage.
