Preparation
- Over medium heat in a small pot, combine coconut oil, maple syrup, and nut butter until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder and stir until smooth.
- Add oats and stir to combine. Do not boil.
- Drop into 12 cookies on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper.
- Place in freezer for 20 minutes to set. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
Notes
Adjust the firmness of the cookies by chilling them in the refrigerator for a softer texture or in the freezer for a firmer bite. Pair with fresh berries or yogurt for a complete snack.
