  • 2 tbsp olive oil Used for roasting and sautéing.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade) Gives the beef a warm, familiar spice profile.
  • 2 tbsp hot honey (store-bought or homemade) Provides the sweet-heat note that makes this bowl memorable.
  • 1/2 tsp paprika Adds warmth to the sweet potatoes.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon Enhances the roast without making it taste like dessert.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Simple seasoning to round out every component.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Toss diced sweet potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 40–45 minutes, stirring halfway.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
  3. Add ground beef, season with taco mix, and cook until browned and flavorful.
Assembly
  1. In each bowl, layer roasted sweet potatoes, ground beef, sliced avocado, and cottage cheese.
  2. Drizzle hot honey over the top.
  3. Garnish with chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, or lime wedge if desired.
  4. Serve warm.
