Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- If using, add sliced bell peppers on top.
Cooking
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to combine.
Serving
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
The chicken should be opaque and easy to shred; avoid overcooking as it can dry out. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
