  • 1 lb Chicken breast Use medium thickness for even cooking.
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste for milder or spicier flavor.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for a rich sauce.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Provides a silky texture to the sauce.
  • 2 cups Rice Any quick-cooking variety will do.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Used for searing chicken.
  • 1 tsp Salt Season to taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, adds aroma.
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped, for the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Cook chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring until sauce is smooth.
  3. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet.
Serving
  1. Spoon rice into bowls first, then ladle the creamy chicken and sauce over the top.

Notes

For smoother sauce, stir gently while heating. Add a splash of milk to adjust thickness if necessary. Pair with a simple green salad or steamed veggies for a complete meal.
