Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the sliced beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Chop the vegetables and mince the garlic and ginger for easy access during cooking.
Cooking
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté briefly until aromatic.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, add oyster sauce, and stir everything together until combined.
Serving
- Serve hot with cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to maintain texture. Feel free to swap the beef for chicken or tofu if desired.
